The Local Government Management Agency (LGMA) is a state agency of the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government established in 2012 to provide a range of services to the Local Government Sector.
The Agency, created through the merger of the Local Government Management Services Board (LGMSB) and the Local Government Computer Services Board (LGCSB) provides such services as ICT infrastructure and business support services, staff negotiations, human resources, communications and management services.
LGMA Board
The Council of the Board, which is made up of each County and City Manager, meets annually and elects a Board. The Board consists of thirteen members - ten County or City Managers and three nominees of the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government.
